Additional Information about Challenge Day:

Please bring your own equipment, laptops, extension cord, and power strip. Don't forget batteries, cables, software, etc. We will not have items to loan to teams.

There will be a six foot table and several chairs available for each team to work on their robot. The number of tables for each team depends on the number of teams registered. These tables will be located in the Heskett Center gymnasium in a common area for all teams. The missions will also be located in the Heskett Center gymnasium. There is a large seating area (bleachers) and plenty of room for spectators to wander and view the events.

A table will be set up for each team's Team Display, and Team Notebook. Your Team Notebook may be used during your Team Presentation. Please leave a note on your table explaining that your Notebook is currently being used in your Team Presentation. This will allow judges to re-visit your table after your Team Presentation.

Food and drink are not allowed in the gymnasium area. Teams can have food and drink in the area outside the gym on the second floor, and in the lobby area on the first floor. There is also a lobby area in Hubbard Hall (the building just to the west where we have the Awards Ceremony).

There are two lunch options available on campus on Saturday:

  • Chick-Fil-A in the Rhatigan Student Center is open from 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Shocker Hall Dining is open for “brunch” from 11:00am-1:00pm.
