Monthly Verification of Enrollment

Once your enrollment has been certified by the WSU Military and Veteran Services and processed by the VA, you will receive an award letter from the Regional Office. You are required to verify your enrollment monthly.

Enrollment can be verified:

• Electronically using Ask VA
• Via telephone by calling 1-888-442-4551
• By text: VA will send you a text when you start your program. VA will ask if you want to verify your enrollment by text. If you respond “yes,” VA will send you a text every month asking you to verify your enrollment.

It is important that you remember to verify your enrollment on the last day of each month or shortly thereafter. If you fail to verify your enrollment using one of the above methods, you will not receive your educational benefits.
