Q: Can you give me information on your CSD Graduate admissions process?
A: Yes! Please see our graduate program webpages (links above) for general data and when you are ready, contact the appropriate coordinator for futher information and/or an advising session.

Q:  How can I book a visit to tour your CSD facilities?
A: 

  • For most CSD programs (BA, AuD and PhD), complete the CSD Program Information/Campus Visit Request Form and a program coordinator will be in touch with you.
  • MA CSD (SLP) program has its own MS Bookings link where you can schedule your own MA clinic tour with a program representative!  
  • Note: If you are a high school or undergraduate student looking for a Wichita State campus tour, please contact WSU Undergraduate Admissions.

    Did you know? The CSD graduate program pages also have clinic video tours that you can check out before visiting in person. Everyone is welcome to view and get a first look at our clinic areas!

Q:  What kind of Financial Aid is available?
A: There are several options in this area. Please visit the CSD department specific scholarship/fellowship page for more information.

Q:  I got an error while registering for a class -  can you help me?
A: For registration issues/override requests, please email csd@wichita.edu with your myWSUid, the CRN/title of the class and the error it displayed -- a screenshot of the error message is always helpful and assists us in getting those done more quickly for you!

Q:  What classes are available this semester?
A: After choosing your courses with your advisor, visit the WSU Schedule of Courses to enroll.
Our courses are mostly in-person, day classes, with some hybrid/online/occassional evening times.

CSD TUITION AND FEES

For new students, the estimated annual cost of attendance includes tuition and fees based on a per credit hour basis for in-state and out-of-state residents. The total cost of attending is dependent upon students' lifestyle accommodations, overall college expenses and personal needs. Please visit the program pages for more information, and contact a program coordinator if you have further questions.

CSD Miller Library
- located on the second floor of Ahlberg Hall (AH), room 255. Contains historical books, thesis/dissertations, journals and more. Also a small table and chairs for study meetings.

College of Health Professions (CHP)

ADVISING
Students interested in the undergraduate CSD program can start with our College of Health Professions (CHP) Advisors - our advising staff are among the best you will find! For potential and current graduate students, please contact the CSD program coordinator of the degree you are interested in (their contact info is available via the program links at the top of the page).

COURSE TRANSFERS
Determine if your previous courses are transferrable before applying.

DEGREE PROGRAMS
If you are interested in a career in health professions, you're in the right spot. Our college offers a wide variety of degree programs.

LACTATION ROOM FOR MOTHERS
The lactation room is located on the second floor of Ahlberg Hall room 253. Mothers have a private space to use that is in close proximity to the ladies restroom. The room has refrigerators, tables, and sofas to create a relaxing environment. Please contact the Dean's Office at 978-3600 or in AH 400 if you would like to schedule a time to use the room.

SCHOLARSHIPS
CHP students are eligible for university-level scholarships and college/department scholarships.

STUDENT GROUPS
Students have many opportunities to get involved. Learn more about the various student groups and organizations available in the College of Health Professions.

OTS COMPUTER AND STUDY LAB
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is located in Ahlberg Hall (AH), Room 100 located in the basement. OTS offers students a study and computer lab to do homework and/or to study.

The College of Health Professions is located in Ahlberg Hall (AH) on Wichita State University's main campus, on 17th Street and Perimeter Road between the major streets of Oliver and Hillside St.

OFFICE OF STUDENT ACCOMMODATIONS AND TESTING

This office is available to students that require any specific accommodations, such as: testing services, an accessible classroom, adaptive aids or equipment, notetaking services, book scanning, accessible furniture, accessible computer lab and more.

COUNSELING AND PREVENTION SERVICES

Students who are or know someone who is experiencing mental or physical hardships or challenges can receive mental health services from this program.
